Basic information about the (OPI&E) Programme

The Programme’s main objective is to increase Poland’s investment attractiveness and that of its regions through the development of the technical infrastructure with the simultaneous protection and improvement of the condition of the environment, health, maintaining cultural identity and developing territorial cohesion.
Over EUR 37.6 billion, which constitutes over 40% of all the funds for the cohesion policy for Poland have been allocated for the completion of The Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2007-2013. Ca. EUR 28 billion comes from European Union funds (over PLN 22 million from the Cohesion Fund and close to EUR 6 billion from the European Regional Development Fund).
Infrastructure investments in the scope of the following will be carried out within the framework of the OPI&E:
