Airport Rescue and Fire fighting Services (LSRG)

 

Airport Rescue and Fire fighting Services are responsible for safety during all aircraft operations provided by Kraków Airport.

The LSRG are equipped with modern rescue and fire fighting gear, in accordance with ICAO – the International Civil Aviation Organisation, and make the airport Category Eight in terms of interventional rescue and fire fighting protection.

The LSRG crew consists of 42 fully qualified rescuers, working in shifts providing 24/7 rescue and fire fighting services at the airport.

High quality, specialist technical, medical and ecological rescue equipment facilitates provide services indispensable to the elimination of threats to life and property.
