Customs clearance
Passengers can choose the green “NOTHING TO DECLARE” passage if they are not carrying goods that exceed the passenger tariff allowance.
Any goods exceeding tariff allowances must be declared prior to leaving the customs room at the “GOODS TO DECLARE” desk, in the red passage.
Any foreign currencies or national legal tender carried from abroad, whose overall value exceeds the equivalent of 10,000 Euros, must be declared in writing. In the red “GOODS TO DECLARE” passage there are desks at which passengers must confirm excessive carriage of foreign currencies or national legal tender.
It is strictly prohibited to carry intoxicants, products banned for moral or environmental reasons, products detrimental to people, animals and plants and products posing a danger to safety and public order.
Breaches of customs and currency laws are liable to criminal and fiscal prosecution.
