From check-in to the departure lounge.

1 - Clearance at the check-in desk
After arriving at the airport, passengers should report to their appropriate check-in desks. Desk numbers can be determined from the monitors throughout the terminal.
At the check-in desk, after presenting a valid ticket and identification (or other necessary documents such as visas, vaccination certificates etc), passengers receive a boarding pass entitling them to board their aircraft. After being checked-in, luggage is subjected to safety and customs controls and is then directed to luggage loading.
At the check-in desks, passengers can declare goods eligible for VAT rebates.
After confirmation of the appropriate documents by the Customs Officer, passengers should visit the Currency Express Office (located on the ground floor of the public part of International terminal T1) to collect their VAT rebate.
