	All passengers travelling to France, Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Italy and departing from Krakow Airport on Saturdays between 9.00 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. are asked to arrive at the airport 2 hours in advance of their scheduled flight, due to extended security procedures. This also applies to passengers flying with carry-on luggage only and holding a valid boarding card printed in advance.

Basic information about the (OPI&E) Programme

The Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2007-2013 (OPI&E) was adopted by the European Commission by under the Decision of 7 December 2007. This is the largest programme in the history of the European Union, within the framework of which projects co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund and Cohesion Fund funds.

Projects carried out by Kraków Airport within the framework of OPI&E

Investments in the scope of priority VI “Road and Air transport TEN-t network” (Measure 6.3 Development of TEN-t air transport network) and VIII “Transport safety and national road safety” (Measure 8.4 Safety and security in air transport) are being carried out at Kraków- Balice International Airport.
