Parking Apron

Parking Apron
A parking apron for aircraft is located 300 metres from the runway, opposite the buildings of the passenger and cargo terminals. The western part of the apron started functioning at the end of 1997, whereas its eastern part began later, in December 2003. The total surface of the apron amounts to 92,000 m2 and it provides space for 17 medium-size aircraft, including one B-747 aircraft, 5 B-767 aircraft, 5 B-737 aircraft, 3 ATR-72 aircraft, 2 Cessna aircraft and one C-141B (cargo) ’plane. The surface of the apron is concrete with a strength of PCN 60.
