13 good practices of Kraków Airport distinguished in the “Responsible Business in Poland. Good practices” report.

Kraków Airport is counted among the 15 companies from the Małopolska region whose CSR practices have been included in the 17th edition of the report entitled “Responsible Business in Poland. Good practices” report.

 

Amongst the 13 of Kraków Airport’s practices described this year in the report issued by the Responsible Business Forum, 6 are long-term practices, which have already been included in the previous editions, while 7 are brand new actions, undertaken in 2018. The distinguished practices of Kraków Airport include:

 

Organisational governance:

  • Kraków Airport’s ethics code;
  • 2017 Kraków Airport sustainability report;

 

Labour practices:

  • Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Services included in the National Fire and Rescue System;
  • Eskadra kpt. Michałka (Capt. Michałek’s Squadron) – charity campaign;
  • Corporate volunteering programme “Support for Volunteers” (long-term practice, included in the report from the 2016 edition);


Environment:

  • Map of the dying world;
  • Electric vehicle charging station;


Consumer issues:

  • Training in the field of rendering services to disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility;
  • Kraków Airport mobile application (long-term practice, included in the report from the 2016 edition);

 

Community involvement and development:

  • “Closer to airport” grant programme;
  • “Supporting our neighbours” competition (long-term practice, included in the report from the 2013 edition);
  • “Need Help” training programme (long-term practice, included in the report from the 2016 edition);
  • Kraków Airport Aviation Education Centre (long-term practice, included in the report from the 2017 edition).
