The Embraer 145 jet landed at Kraków Airport a minute before the scheduled time of landing. The flight from Boryspil International Airport, the biggest airport in Ukraine, took a bit more than an hour and a half. The new connection from Kraków Airport is offered by the biggest Ukrainian airline. Ukraine International Airlines is the 20th airline that launched its regular connection from Kraków Airport in 2017.

It is an all-year-round route. Until January 6th the Kiev-Kraków-Kiev route will be operated 6 times a week (daily, except from Sunday), and since January 8th, 2018 the flight to and from the Ukrainian capital will be operated daily.

Boryspil International Airport is located 30 km east from the centre of Kiev and is the main airport of Ukraine International Airlines. Since 1993, the capital of Ukraine has been one of the partner cities of Kraków. The first agreement on the collaboration between these two cities was concluded more than 40 years ago. Kiev is an important communication junction, tourist, industry and education centre, as well as a host of various international fairs.

Last year the capital of Małopolska was visited by 110 thousand Ukrainian tourists (+158%).
