On Sunday, 1 May, we are commencing tests of a new parking system at Kraków Airport. At first, the system will be operated at no extra cost. New parking rates in the Kiss&Fly area will be effective from 7 May.
Starting on Sunday, barriers will be used at the entry to the airport. Drivers will take a ticket, but in the first week there will be no extra charge - using the Kiss&Fly area will be free, the price for the multilevel car park will remain the same. Only one ticket will suffice for the Kiss&Fly area and the multilevel car park.
There will be new barriers added at the entrance from Kryspinów and road DW 774. Drivers entering the airport area through those barriers will also take a ticket. In the first week, when leaving the Kiss&Fly area, drivers will not have to pay for parking. At the exit, it will be enough to present the ticket they collected before. If drivers use the multilevel car park, they will pay the current price based on the ticket collected at entrance barriers.
From 7 May, parking in the Kiss&Fly area in front of the terminal will be free of charge for the first 10 minutes. After that time, they will be charged PLN 6 per each commenced 10 minutes. Passengers planning a longer stay should choose the multilevel car park. The Kiss&Fly area is intended only for drivers who drop off or pick up passengers and park their car for a few minutes. With the new solution, it will be more convenient for passengers to use the Kiss&Fly area, and the Kraków Airport internal traffic will improve.
The multilevel car park rules remain the same. The ticket collected at entrance barriers is also valid at the multilevel car park. It is enough to validate it at the car park entrance (from that moment, the driver will be charged for parking).
The parking charge can be paid in eight parking metres located at the exits from the car park staircases, at the passage from the car park to the footbridge between the railway station and the terminal, next to the Car Park Customer Service and at the Kiss&Fly area on the arrivals entrance level.
Drivers are requested to pay attention to the signs at the barriers located at the entrance to the airport and to choose the right lanes. The first two lanes on the left are dedicated to the hotel and the multilevel car park. The next lane is for entering and parking in the Kiss&Fly area. The next two lanes are intended for coaches, buses, Kraków Airport taxis and as cargo driveway.
