A strong start of the year at Kraków Airport. In January 2016, 303,677 passengers used our services, which is an increase of 16% compared to January 2015.
For the very first time in history, Kraków Airport exceeded the number of 300,000 passengers handled just within the first month of the year. An increase was also observed in the number of aircraft operations, which reached 2,770, i.e. 4% more than last January.
We also have some good news for our passengers. Air France announced the launch of a new connection between Kraków and Paris. It will consequently become the fifteenth traditional carrier offering flights from Kraków this year.
What is more, SprintAir inaugurated its connection between Kraków and the Olsztyn-Mazury Airport on 22 January. And in two weeks, i.e. on 15 February, KLM will introduce an extra morning flight from Kraków to Amsterdam, expanding its offer to 14 flights a week.
