2018

In May 2018, 611,493 passengers used the services offered by Kraków Airport, which is 83 thousand passengers more than in May 2017 (+16%).

Last month, the airport recorded the total of 4,712 take-offs and landings, which is 12% more than in the same month last year.

During the last month, we welcomed new carriers: YanAir inaugurated its connection to Odessa and Laudamotion announced that in winter season it will be flying to Vienna. This is the 23rd carrier to offer flights from Kraków. The new PLL LOT connection to Budapest was very popular during the month of May. It is operated six times a week and on average more than 100 people travel in one plane. For many passengers this is a transit connection for the flights to USA. Passengers travelling to Australia, on the other hand, are more likely to use a convenient connection via Dubai. Dubai is a suitable stopover also for those flying to: Tanzania, India and Sri Lanka.

From the beginning of 2018, 2,597,284 passengers were handled by the airport in total, which constitutes a 19% increase compared to the same period last year.
