On 13 February the bridge on al. Focha over the river Rudawa was closed for traffic owing to maintenance works. Drivers will have to deal with major traffic restrictions and take diversions. Bus services to the Airport will also be diverted.
Al. Focha in Kraków is going to be inaccessible to vehicles for two months. A diversion for cars and municipal buses has been set up through ul. Piastowska and al. 3 Maja.
The 252 and 902 bus lines run from the Kraków Airport to the Słonecznikowa bus stop without any changes and then continue on ul. Piastowska and al. 3 Maja to the Cracovia bus stop, where they return to their standard routes leading to Os. Podwawelskie/Dworzec Główny Wschód. A two-way traffic scheme has been set up in al. 3 Maja for the duration of the works.
Along the diversion, buses stop at: "Cichy Kącik", "AGH" (only if going towards ul. Piłsudskiego), and "Cracovia" (if going towards ul. Reymonta). The "Cracovia" bus stop towards ul. Królowej Jadwigi has been moved to al. Mickiewicza, near the National Museum.
Departure and arrival times for airport-bound bus services have also been changed. You can find a detailed timetable on www.mpk.krakow.pl.
The maintenance works on the bridge also mean major traffic restrictions for drivers, forcing them to take diversions. If you are going towards Wola Justowska, you can turn from al. Mickiewicza into al. 3 Maja and then continue on ul. Piastowska up to ul. Królowej Jadwigi. If you are going in the opposite direction, you have to turn from ul. Królowej Jadwigi into ul. Piastowska and then continue on ul. Reymonta up to al. Mickiewicza.
