The Routes Forum is one of the most famous and prestigious events of the global aviation industry, organized by UBM (UK) Ltd - a global company specializing in the organization of events for the development of transportation services. One global Routes conference and regional forums in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas and the Commonwealth of Independent States are held every year. Participation in this event helps representatives of the aviation industry and operators on the global aviation market develop new projects, target clients, launch new products, promote brands and develop markets. The 11th European edition of the forum was held on 23-26 April 2016 in Kraków.The event was be hosted by Kraków Airport and partnered by the Province of Małopolska and the Municipality of Kraków. Routes Europe was held in Poland for the second time. In 2006 the event in Warsaw was attended by nearly 300 participants. This year it was more than 1,200 people. Participants included the representatives of leading airports and airlines from around the world, tourism organizations, tour operators and other major players on the global aviation market. Delegates had ample opportunity to discover Kraków and Małopolska, enjoy the city’s attractions and learn about the latest developments at Kraków Airport which include the extension and modernization of the airport.
