22 April 2016 – 24 April 2016 From Friday 22 April, there will be a special zone in the airport’s new terminal for the conference’s guests (the “arrival centre”); transfers to 10 official hotels will also be organised for the delegates. 23 April 2016 On Saturday, there will be seven different optional excursions for interested delegates: a walk through Kraków, a tour of Kraków by Melex or Segway, a trip to Nowa Huta to see traces of communism, a visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a visit to Auschwitz and a bicycle trip along the Vistula River to the Tyniec Monastery. 24 April 2016 – 26 April 2016 On Sunday, the content-related part of the forum will begin, which will consist of F2F meetings, Strategy Summit and Route Exchange Briefings (LOT, Small Planet Airlines, Transavii). Strategy Summit The part of the conference on Sunday (Strategy Summit) is divided into four thematic sessions addressing problems, changes and opportunities which the aviation industry currently faces. F2F Meetings The Routes conference is based on a model consisting of 20-minute meetings with specific business partners that have been planned in advance. On the last weekend of April, Kraków will become the aviation centre of Europe. Over 1,200 delegates and representatives of airlines, airports, tourist organisations, tour operators and other significant entities in the global aviation market will come to Routes Europe, a forum for the development of air connections to Małopolska’s capital. Participation in the forum will enable representatives of the aviation industry and entities of the global aviation market to develop new initiatives, reach clients, introduce new products, promote brands and expand markets. Being the host of Routes Europe 2016 is an honour for Kraków Airport, but above all an opportunity to present our dynamically developing infrastructure and network of connections, as well as to strengthen the position of our airport on the map of Europe. It’s also an excellent occasion to present Kraków and Małopolska, together with our partners.

Networking Evening – this is the official part of the forum, during which the Marketing Routes Awards are presented – an important distinction bestowed upon airports by airlines. This event will take place in the very heart of Kraków – at the ICE Congress Centre. 27 April 2016 This is the last day of the forum, when delegates will have a chance to visit Kraków and Małopolska. conversations of this kind are planned, with results from which air passengers from all over Europe will be able to benefit. Kraków Airport will have 40 conversations – with Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, Air Canada, Etihad and Qatar Airlines, among others. Events for Delegates Welcome Reception – on Sunday we will welcome delegates at Stara Zajezdnia in Kazimierz. This 3-hour welcoming banquet will be a chance to present the flavours of Kraków and Małopolska and to allow participants to integrate.
