Will They Sing Like Raindrops or Leave Me Thirsty is a photographic documentation of a trip to India taken by Max Pinckers. His aim was to document love and its “victims.” He captured not only love of the fairy tale variety but also the kind that seems taken straight from tragedies – relationships that are forbidden due to caste or religious differences. Love Commandos, an organisation that aids young fugitives, also appears in the photographs. Kraków will host his exhibition during Photomonth 2016, which lasts from 12 May to 12 June, but Pinckers’s works can be viewed at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCAK) from 21 April.
