The Kraków Airport Master Plan sets the course for the development of the airport in the next twenty years. The value of planned investments is about PLN 1 billion. The tasks planned for the years leading to 2036 account for the development of the network of connections and air traffic in Poland, which will also be the result of creating the Central Communication Port.The implementation of the tasks described in the approved Master Plan of the airport is divided into stages and consistent with the implemented Strategy of the Capital Group of Międzynarodowy Port Lotniczy im. Jana Pawła II Kraków-Balice sp. z o.o. Consequently, in 20 years’ time Kraków Airport will be the largest regional airport in Poland. In 2036, Kraków Airport will handle mainly European connections, implemented by carriers using mainly C airplanes, i.e. aircraft most often flying to/from Kraków.
