Construction works will soon begin at the oldest section of the airport apron (Polish abbreviation: PPS), which is where planes arriving at Kraków Airport are parked. Starting on the 23rd August, the PPS will be reorganised, which involves closing its section to aircraft traffic. The works will be implemented in stages, so that the ground operations remain safe, and will have as little impact on the airport’s functioning as possible.
During the construction works, part of the aircraft parking spaces and taxiways will be closed. This means passengers will not be able to use airbridges. Additional paths from the terminal to aircraft (so-called WIWOs) will be organised for passengers to access their planes or the terminal from the apron. We are sorry for all the inconveniences caused by the renovation and kindly ask for your understanding.
