In the 12th edition of the Responsible Businesses Ranking, Kraków Airport was listed 8th in the “Services, Commerce and Transport” category, and 17th in the general ranking.

It is the only airport in Poland that has been included on the list for two years. Following last year’s successful début with a crystal grade, this time Kraków Airport has proven its strong standing. Adherence to the CSR standards not only involves building lasting relations with stakeholders, protecting the environment, creating a friendly working environment or following transparent operational practices, but it is also a great chance to improve day-to-day operations of the airport based on innovative solutions.

“Start-ups of Positive Impact” was a new list added to this year’s ranking. It includes organisations that apply an innovative business model generating both financial and social benefits. The winner of the category was Bioseco Sp. z o.o. from Gdańsk, which participated in last year’s ScaleUp acceleration program – whose strategic partner was Kraków Airport – and together with our airport staff developed a bird airspace activity monitoring system.

The ranking was announced at the 12th Responsible Businesses and Start-ups of Positive Impact Ranking Gala, which took place on Friday (15/06) in Warsaw. The complete lists and commentary on the Ranking of Responsible Companies has been published in today’s Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
