Kraków Airport is Poland's only airport listed in the Responsible Businesses Ranking published by Gazeta Prawna. Kraków Airport received crystal grade in the 11th edition of the ranking.
The company debuted last year on the Socially Responsible Businesses List, which is a prelude for the Responsible Businesses Ranking, featuring Kraków Airport this year. Responsible business is more than building lasting relations with stakeholders or protecting the environment. It also affords an opportunity to improve daily operations of the airport. A lot of work is still ahead of us but we nevertheless appreciate that the Kraków Airport's responsible management gained recognition among organisers of the competition and that it was described as mature.
The criteria for this year's Ranking changed and now, next to the so-called pillars of responsible business management, the final score also incorporated investor relations, sustainable growth and responsible innovation. This last factor is currently of particular importance for Kraków Airport.
In March this year, Kraków Airport also ranked among 180 companies whose CSR practices were described in the 15th edition of the annual report compiled by the Responsible Business Forum, entitled "Responsible Business in Poland. Best practices". The report describes the record-high number (seven) of the airport's actions in such areas as community involvement and development, labour practices and consumer issues.
