By decision of the Council of Ministers and due to the epidemioloical situation in Poland, from October, 17th (Saturday) Krakow becomes a part of the „red zone”. This will not affect the airport’s operational activities.

The rules of accessing the terminal have not chaned – it is open to everyone, both for passengers and people saying goodbye/picking up their relatives. Covering your mouth and nose is obligatory, same as measuring temperature at the entrance.
However some changes will be implemented:
- restaurants will be open from 6am to 9pm, after 9pm only take-away meals can be ordered; every other table will be available for guests;
- shops and other commercial premises will be able to accomodate up to 5 people per one cash register; between 10am and 12am shops will be available only for seniors (the so-called „senior hours”);
- up to 16 people at one time (1 person per 7m2) will be able to use the airport’s chapel;
- Schengen Business Lounge will be open from 4:30am to 10pm (according to the previous point, gastronomic offer will be available for passengers between 6am - 9pm).
- Business Lounge Non-Schengen will be closed until further notice.
