In January, 510,752 passengers used the services of Kraków Airport, which is an increase of 16% compared to January 2018.
During winter holidays, the passengers were eager to choose popular skiing destinations, like Turin. The destinations where it is much warmer than in Poland at this time of the year, like Spain and Morocco, were also very popular in January.
This was also the month when LOT airlines announced launching of two new #flyKRK connections: to Bucharest and Dubrovnik, and increasing flight frequency to Chicago – up to 3 per week.
Starting in January, Kraków Airport has offered free physical and breathing exercises for passengers to help them get prepared for the flight. The exercises aim at both preparing a passenger's spine to a journey in a sitting position, and making them relaxed and quietened before the flight. The sessions last 15 minutes each and are available from 11 am to 1 pm. The exercises are conducted by personal instructors from Happy Healthy company.
Another facility that has been provided to meet the expectations of the passengers are water dispensers. The dispensers are located directly behind the security control points, in the FAST TRACK passage and at the Drogeria trading post.
