It was the best March in the history of Kraków Airport. In March, 363,034 passengers were served at the airport – as much as 20% more than in March 2015.

An increase was also observed in the number of flights, which reached 3,186, that is 14% more than in March 2015.

 
In last month, the greatest absolute increase was recorded by Jet2.com, Ryanair and easyJet airlines. The most popular March destination from Krakow were: Newcastle served by Jet2.com (passenger load factor 97%) and Ryanair's Malaga (96%).
 
During the first quarter of 2016, Kraków Airport served 976,711 passengers in total, which is 18% more than in 2015 (over 150,000 passengers more). 
 
For aviation, March is the end of winter season. Winter season 2015/2016 compared to the previous one has brought 16% increase in the number of passengers served by the airport (+220,000 passengers).
