Additionally, the flights introduced in the 2015/2016 winter season, i.e. to Tenerife and Gran Canaria (Ryanair) and to Olsztyn (SprintAir), will remain in the schedule.
Compared to the previous summer season, the number of connections has increased by 9. British Airways offer everyday flights to Heathrow Airport (London), while SWISS International Air Lines fly to Zurich every day and KLM have two flights to Amsterdam per day. Lufthansa have introduced an additional, fourth flight to Munich (every day except for Sundays).
In the summer of 2016, 21 airlines will be operating from Kraków Airport.

In summer months, travel agencies are offering holidays including flights from Kraków Airport to five countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Turkey and Italy. As an alternative to Kraków Airport’s vast offer of regular flights, passengers can choose from ten charter destinations, including Antalya, Burgas, Corfu, Chania, Heraklion, Zakynthos and Rodos. Starting this summer, passengers flying from Kraków Airport can spend their holiday in Varna (Golden Sands, Bulgaria), Fuerteventura (Canary Islands, Spain) and Palermo (Sicily, Italy).

According to forecasts by Kraków Airport, by the end of 2016 the airport will have handled about 4.6 million passengers (excluding the World Youth Day-related traffic).
